International Women’s Day on March 8th serves as a global platform to
celebrate all the amazing girls and women whose lives  have made the world
a better place.

The children of Villamaria both the boys and girls appreciate their  contributions.
They recognise and understand the importance of Women’s role in their family
and society. They were brought to the awareness of gender equality.

To celebrate this day the children made cards and posters to show appreciation and respect to all the wonderful women in their lives. ‘Let’s remember everyone is special: both girls and boys can do great things together with mutual support and respect’.

The International Women’s Day celebration was a meaningful experience for
both children and teachers through story telling  and various activities. They learn to value appreciation, equality and respect.
