“Learn English in an International Community” program was held at Restful Waters from 28 July to 25 August 2019.  The eight participants were Good Shepherd Sisters – four from Sri Lanka, one from Pakistan and three from Vietnam/

Sr Lucy Chia and Ms Melina Ong ran the 4-week holistic program in collaboration with Mission partners who taught them the English Language and various skills on leadership and writing of project proposal. They were also given to an exposure to the varied  ministries, to experience a nation of different races and religions living in harmony as well as getting to learn about local culture, tasting of local cuisine  and visiting places of interest.

The teachers, trainers and volunteers were:

Ms Agnes Yeo,  Ms Joan D’Cotta, Ms Jane Marie Ng, Ms Kuang Ser Yee, Ms Cecilia Ee, Ms Morene Sim, Ms Agnes Ee and Ms Cecilia Lim, Ms Susanna Chan, Ms Wu Siew Mei, Sr Helena Vytialingam, Ms Michelle Anne Koh and Mr Nick Jarvis Tan.
