“Committed to the Cause – Working on the Frontline to End Human Trafficking.”
Global Shepherds Berhad, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia conducts a series of interviews with its frontliner-staff in line with World Day Against Trafficking as a way to honour and acknowledge their contributions to end Human Trafficking.
The theme for this year’s World Day Against Trafficking focuses on the first responders to human trafficking. Those who work in identifying victims, supporting, counselling and seeking justice for them. The work also includes those who fight for the cause to bring perpetrators to justice.
Their role as first responders was severely impacted as the Covid-19 pandemic crisis deepened and movement restrictions were imposed.
Through a series of videos, we spotlight the first responders at Global Shepherds Berhad recognizes the importance of the work that they do, their challenges, and especially what motivate them and keep them going.
